We decided on a short trip by train for the Memorial Day weekend so Hermann became our clear choice.  The Acorn fit into our plans and we sure are glad as its a very nice B&B.  I (we) loved the view and felt that there was plenty of privacy also.  Breakfast was wonderful (bagel with sausage, cheese and egg, plus a fruit salad).  J. & A. from Warrensburg, Missouri

This is one of the nicest places I've visited in 34 days on the road from PA, by bicycle.  Thanks.  You have a beautiful family.  D.S. from Minneapolis

A peaceful, relaxing weekend is just what we needed and is exactly what we got here in Hermann.  Everyone is so friendly and quiet.  We love this town so much, my husband wants to move here.  This was a great place to spend our anniversary.  Thank you Sharla for opening your home to us and making us feel so welcome.  You are a very nice person and a great hostess.  You made us feel like we were a part of your family.  You have this room set up so cute!  Thanks again for everything. We really enjoyed our time here.  E & T.S. from Alton, Illinois

To get to our house from I-70 you will cross over the bridge into Hermann on Highway 19 (it is one of the most breathtaking views of Hermann!) Then continue 3 blocks to the traffic light, turn right, go 2 blocks (1 block past St. George Catholic church)and we are on the left.
